
ABOUT ME

way̓ incá iskʷíst smx̌icnátkʷ. My name is Cree Whelshula. My parents are Martin and Martina Whelshula. My grandparents are Alice Swan Stewart, Gilbert Stewart, Genevieve Friedlander, and Greg Ramos. I am from Inchelium, WA on the Colville Reservation. I have been learning the nsəlxcin language since the age of 7. My first job at the age of 15 was making nsəlxcin labels for the Inchelium Head Start classrooms. I have worked in language ever since in various roles in teaching and administration.
ABOUT THE SITE
This site was created to house language books for any language learner young or old. The vision I hold in my head while I create these books are parents with their children in their laps learning together. Also teachers who may or may not know the language engaging their students in the language.
